So, I guess they're going to get your ISPs to cut off your internet if you torrent music?

Didn't read past the first paragraph, I sensed an incurable rage building in me.

The RIAA is not a government subsidiary. They have no right to boss anyone around, lawsuits are one thing, but coercing ISPs into banning you from your tubes is bullshit. The artists don't lose any money from people pirating; shit, they hardly make money as it is. The only people losing money on pirating are the record labels that support them. Luckily most of the music I listen to comes from indie labels that either a) endorse pirating or b) i end up buying the music anyway.

Anyway, there's this program called Peer Guardian 2 that masks your IP from government, university, and RIAA IPs from spying on your downloads so you don't have to pirate in fear. Use it and they'll never fucking know.
