So when I disagree with an argument what I usually do is argue in favor of it but really weakly. I'll do this several times over and over. It's so much easier than trying to argue against with a good argument since people tend to just ignore anything they don't agree with regardless.
Another thing I do is setup hypnotism. If I want a "yes" for example, I'll start with a series of questions that person would agree with:
"It's hot out today",
"yeah,
"The sun's been way too bright here with these open plains",
"Absolutely",
"Remember when we went to that shaded spot by the fountain?"
"Yes.",
"Let's do that again",
"Sounds good"
And bam, you have a date.
